Enter your Email address. Click on Advanced options and tick the box “Let me set up my account manually“. Click on Connect to continue.
Click on POP.
Enter your Email password. Click on Connect.
Click on View Certificate…
Click on Install Certificate…
Click on Next.
Click on Next.
Click on Finish.
You have successfully installed the SSL Certificate. Click on OK.
Click on OK.
Click on Yes.
If you see the following window, click on Change Account Settings.
Make sure your Incoming and Outgoing mail is mail.<yourdomain.com>. In this guide, it is mail.aweb.sg. Check the Port numbers as well. Incoming Port should be 995; Outgoing Port should be 465. Leave the rest of the options as shown in the image below. Click on Next.
You will see the Password prompt window. Click on Connect if it is already filled.
Your POP3 email account has been added. Click on Done.
You can access your Email account settings by clicking on File.
Click on Account Settings.
Click on Account Settings…
You should see the newly added Email account in the Email tab. You can set the POP3 email account to leave a copy of email messages on the server after download and also remove them after a certain number of days. To do that, highlight your Email account and click on Change…
“Leave a copy of messages on the server” is enabled by default. “Remove from server after X days” is set to 14 initially. If you frequently receive emails with large attachments, you may want to reduce it to between 5 and 7 days so that your inbox will not become full. This also gives you ample time to download your emails on other devices e.g. iPad. Click on Next to save your changes.
